An Architectural Mystery
There are three banks of elevators at the Coning Tower, as you can see from these photos. Why is there not access to floors 15 and 30? Are there any architects out there?
Perhaps the cafeteria on 29 takes up the space of two floors -- but then what's on 15?

the question to ask is where is the 1st floor...obviously you are standing on it...could be that first bank goes from 1st thru 14...second bank takes you straight to 15 and from there you get on the 16-29...third bank takes you straight to 30...where you can access the rest of the floors...just a guess.
